DESIGNER'S NOTES: SHIBORI TIE-DYE
Shibori is a traditional resist tie-dye technique that’s been around for centuries. The process starts with folding, twisting, pleating or binding the fabric, before dipping it into Azo-free dyes. Those folds create bold, unique patterns that can never be repeated. Everything is done by hand, which means the colour, depth and pattern placement shifts along the fabric. Expect differences in each piece and embrace them, that’s what makes it special.
