Please note we are unable to accept the return of jewellery, fragrance, bath & body products for hygiene reasons. If you'd like to return swimwear, please ensure the protective sanitary strip is still intact otherwise we will be unable to issue a refund. 

Extended UK Christmas Returns

Updated: 19th December 2024
We extended our usual UK return period for Christmas 2024. Purchases made online placed between 6th November 2024 and 18th December 2024 can be returned up until 22nd January 2025, for a refund back to your original payment method. For purchases made from 19th December 2024 onwards, our normal return policy will apply.

Update to our Returns Policy (Effective 12noon 15th January 2025)

We have introduced a £3 fee that will apply to returns for all UK orders placed on or after this date.The fee will be automatically deducted from your refunded amount  when we process your return.

At Nobody’s Child, we’re committed to taking steps to reduce our impact on the planet. Returns are a hidden environmental cost of online shopping, with each return requiring transportation, handling, and repackaging, which increases carbon emissions and creates waste, whilst driving up business costs. 

 

Whilst we will continue to cover the majority cost of returns, this £3 contribution will ensure we can continue offering quality products at fair prices and make a purposeful change to break the buy, return, repeat cycle.

At Nobody's Child, we’re continuously investing in initiatives to make it easier for you to find the right style and fit. By helping you make more informed choices, we aim to reduce returns and minimise their impact. 

Here’s how we’re enhancing your experience throughout 2025: 

  • Better product, better fit: Improving our size consistency across all ranges, including petite & extended sizes, with better guides and sizing feedback to our teams. 
  • More support, more style: Repair guides, and lookbooks for easier styling. 
  • Transparency & responsibility: Expanding digital product passports for greater insight into your items. 

In addition, to make your shopping experience seamless, we’ll also be introducing these exciting updates:  

  • Exchanges: Easily swap for a different size or style - without the return fee and with complimentary standard delivery  
  • Order editing: Adjust your purchase before it’s shipped 
  • Enhanced delivery options: Enjoy next-day AM delivery or DPD Stock Pickup for added convenience

General Returns Policy

Returns periods:

  • Full-Price Items: Return within 30 days of receipt
  • Sale or Markdown Items: Return within 14 days of receipt

We are committed to providing a seamless and convenient returns process through our online portal, offering options such as:

  • Easy returns for all eligible items.
  • Flexible return methods, including QR code or printed label options.
  • Tracking of your return and refund via our portal.

Please note we are unable to accept the return of jewellery, fragrance, bath & body products for hygiene reasons. If you'd like to return swimwear, please ensure the protective sanitary strip is still intact otherwise we will be unable to issue a refund. 

 

Each order must be returned separately. Multiple orders cannot be combined into one return. Attempting to do so may result in delays, failed returns, and a delayed refund. A £3 return fee applies per return.

Customers are fully responsible for their return until the parcel has been marked as received at the Nobody’s Child warehouse. This includes ensuring that the correct return items, in perfect condition, are placed in original Nobody’s Child packaging. The correct courier labels must also be applied to the parcel. 

Please ensure you have proof of postage; this will be needed in the event you need to contact our Customer Services Team about your return.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation, and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which allow you to cancel and return items purchased online within the specified timeframes.

How do I return my UK online order?

Generate your return via our Nobody's Child Returns Portal. Please ensure the items are in perfect condition, unworn, and with tags attached (when they apply).


Online purchases cannot be returned in-store, as our stores currently operate on a separate inventory and returns system from our online platform. 

How do I return an international order?

For international returns please follow the link here to the returns portal.

 

You can find the correct order number on your dispatch note listed as the SO reference. It's a 14-digit number that starts with GE.

 

International customers so you will be responsible for the cost of sending the return back to us. We accept returns for all full price items within 30 days of receiving your order, if it's in perfect condition, unworn, and with the tags still attached. For all sale items or orders placed with a voucher code, we accept returns within 14 days of purchase. We are unable to accept the return of earrings for hygiene reasons. 

How do I use the returns portal?

Please follow the link here to our returns portal. Enter your 8-digit order number beginning with NC and your postcode. 

You will then be able to choose your returns method. If you’d like a digital QR code that you can take to the Post Office to scan, please select ‘QR Code’ – no printer is required for this method.

If you’d prefer to print your own physical label, please select ‘Printed Label’ – a printer is required for this method. Once you’ve made this selection, you won’t be able to go back and change your mind, so we’d kindly like to ask that you double check you’ve chosen the most suitable method before proceeding.

How long do I have to return?

We accept returns for all full price items within 30 days of receiving your order, for or all sale or markdown items we accept returns within 14 days of receipt. 

Where is my refund?

Please use our Returns Portal to track your return. Please note refunds can take up to 21 days

An email will be sent to you once your return is with the warehouse, and a further email will be sent once the refund has been processed.

What products can’t I return?

We are unable to accept returns of jewellery, fragrance, bath & body products for hygiene reasons. If you'd like to return swimwear, please make sure it still has the protective slip for sanitary reasons otherwise we won't be able to refund you.

Can I exchange an item?

Yes, exchanges are now available through our Returns Portal.

Simply select the exchange option when processing your return. Both Instant Exchanges and Standard Exchanges are now available, these do not include the return fee and have complimentary standard delivery. 

Instant exchanges are sent out as soon as requested, after a pre-authorisation charge, and standard exchange require the products to be received and approved, prior to the exchange being despatched.

Exchanges are not currently available when you order via Harper Try Before You Buy. 

Are exchanges free?

Yes. We now offer both Instant and Standard Exchanges. There is no returns fee and complimentary standard delivery on all exchanges.

How long will my exchange take?

Instant exchanges are dispatched as soon as requested, after a pre-authorisation charge.

Standard exchange require the products to be received back to our warehouse and approved, prior to the exchange being dispatched.

Do I need to pay extra for an exchange?

No. We offer complimentary exchanges across both Instant Exchanges and Standard Exchanges. 

Instant exchanges require a £1 pre-authorisation charge, that will be released once your original item is returned. If you do not return the original item within 14 days of the exchange, this payment method will be charged for the non-returned item. 


 

Will the price of my exchange change?

Your exchanged product price will be consistent to the orginal product price when purchased. 

How do I return my in-store order?

We are unable to accept store returns at our warehouse. 

For store orders, please return to one of our stores and our staff will issue you with an exchange or refund.

How do I return my NC rental order?

Once you’ve finished with your rental, put it back in the bag it came in and send it back using the pre-paid returns label. For any other enquiries please contact Zoa’s team directly at customersupport@zoarental.com where one of their rental experts will be able to help you.

I've accidentally returned an item that isn't from Nobody's Child

Nobody’s Child is not responsible for incorrect items returned to us. While we’ll try to identify and return such items, we cannot guarantee this. 

If we can locate the item and you wish for it to be returned, you will need to cover the associated delivery costs.

I have the wrong or faulty items

If you have received the wrong or faulty item, please use the Return Portal to generate a return label to send this back to us, please then contact us via heretohelp@nobodyschild.com with your order number to then disucss further, if necessary. 

If the item is faulty we may ask you to provide pictures of the item.

Can I return items from separate orders together in one return?
