Digital Product Passport
We're all about transparency. That’s why in 2023, we started out on our Digital Product Passport (DPP) journey.

WHAT IS A DPP?
A Digital Product Passport (DPP) is a digital record of a garment’s lifecycle, detailing materials, production, traceability, and sustainability data. This pioneering initiative enhances transparency by allowing consumers and brands to access real-time product insights.
DPPs also support circular fashion by enabling resale, recycling, and repairs. They help verify authenticity, track product journeys, and ensure brands meet sustainability regulations, driving accountability in the fashion industry.
DPPs are part of the EU’s upcoming Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), designed to set new standards for product sustainability and circularity. We’re ahead of the curve, but we’ve partnered with our industry-leading sister company, Fabacus, on our trail-blazing series of DPP pilots, mapping our pieces from fabric, to factory, and beyond. rolling out DPPs on key collections and continuing to expand as we approach the regulation’s full implementation, expected between 2026-2030.
Our DPP Journey
Our DPP journey began with 3 pilot NC x Happy Place by Fearne Cotton collections from September 2023 to March 2024, in partnership with Fabacus. In August 2024, we launched a Denim Deep Dive pilot with Chottani, focusing on data collection and scaling DPPs across all products ahead of regulations. From September 2024 to February 2025, we trialled traceability software with suppliers using the Fairly Made platform. Our goal is to roll out DPPs across all clothing by AW25, a major milestone for us and our partners.
