The truth about linen

The truth about linen

Linen’s all natural, that’s the good news. We currently blend ours with other fibres, so you get something you love at a price you can afford.  But could we do better for the environment and linen lovers everywhere? Hell yeah. We use a higher percentage of linen than most of our competitors, but we’re aiming even higher. We pledge to launch 100% linen and sustainable cotton by summer 2020 and here’s why it’s important to us…

fakespacing[1]fakespacing[1]Thumbs up: Linen is made from the flax plant, isn’t very thirsty, emits ¼ of the carbon emitted by cotton per pound, and is completely biodegradable in its natural state.

fakespacing[1] Thumbs down: Producing linen is seriously hard work, which makes it pretty expensive. That’s our challenge, we’re working on it!

fakespacing[1]fakespacing[1]Why buy our linen blends?

> They’re more breathable than synthetic fabrics.

>You can care for your blends in a sustainable way (hand wash cold, use a microplastic catching laundry ball and skip the dryer).

>They look beaut AND they’re 100% affordable.

>They’re timeless pieces you’ll want to wear on repeat.
