Interview: 5 mins with Storm Model, Shannikah Doherty
A couple of months ago, we interviewed Maddy Elmer – the star of our festival fashion shoot – about her modelling career, beauty tips and general style advice. And today we’re at it again, as we go five mins in the ring with fellow Storm Model and 100% #girlcrush, Shannikah Doherty!
With razor sharp cheekbones and a stare so piercing it would give Derek Zoolander a run for his money, Shannikah is what you’d call a timeless beauty. Her striking features could quite easily represent any era, and so she was absolutely perfect as the face of our Retro Revival collection, which reimagines classic patterns from the past – including gingham, polka dot and ditsy florals – in SS16 shapes and styles.
Shannikah’s previously modelled for the likes of Urban Outfitters and Topshop (where …FYI!…we’re now available in-store and online), and so as you can imagine, she was an absolute pro, switching from pose to pose in the blink of an eye. In-between takes, and after about ten minutes trying to nail that obligatory boomerang shot for Instagram, we sat down with Shannikah to find out what life’s like on the other side of the camera…
