How to be badass on International Women’s Day
Need a little girl boss inspo on the run up to International Women’s Day?
Whether you’re at the top of your game or aspiring to greatness, let us introduce you to…
Launched on International Women’s Day 2018,
Badass.gal celebrates young female creatives that are already going above and beyond.
A project by two members of The Young Creative Council, with the aim of bridging the gap between industry and education.
Over the last year, Badass.gal has been working on improving these stats by shouting about a different young female creative every day.
From Sophie Leseberg Smith aka The Nasty Poet, to Jo Wallace, the founder of Good Girls Eat Dinner supper club for creative women – the platform showcases some of the very best female creative talent from across the globe.
To celebrate 365 days of Badass.gal, the founders are holding an exhibition
at Twitter’s London HQ on #IWD2019 (Friday 8th March).
Many young women shy away from sharing their success, so the aim of the exhibition is to encourage more women to own their achievements.
Featuring portraits of all the gals, shot in Nobody’s Child’s very own studio (because we like to help a badass gal out), each portrait features a quote stating why each girl is a badass, illustrated by Beki Reilly.
