MEET RENE
Designer Rene Moshi Meleki grew up in Tanzania, surrounded by beautiful textiles in a world alive with pattern, storytelling and meaning. Her love of bold colour was born from those early influences; in African design, every print holds symbolism and this continues to inspire the way she designs today.Before moving to the UK, colour and print had always been part of Rene’s story. Now based in west London, she channels her heritage and creativity into Lisou, designing clothes that feel joyful, confident and full of life. Each print begins as a hand-drawn sketch in her studio, inspired by her upbringing and the vibrant art scene that surrounds her.

At Nobody’s Child, we’re drawn to designers who create with emotion and individuality. Rene’s love of colour and confident creativity bring energy to everything she touches and bringing her artistry into the Nobody’s Child world felt effortless. Through collaborations like this, we’ve continued to shine a light on women with purpose – authentically evoking feeling and emotion through joyful partnerships that resonate.We both believe in clothes that make you feel something. PRINTS AND SHADES Each Lisou print starts life as a hand-drawn sketch, brought to life in bold shades of fuchsia, jewel green and deep plum. Across velvets, jacquards and crisp cotton, they bring a sense of movement and energy to every piece.
